Biography

While studying black and white photography at Emerson College, Meredith’s constant observation of light and shadow led her to explore stage lighting design and installation. Here she played with mirrors, movement, and the merging of natural and artificial light in order to frame moments in time and space for viewing. As a result, Meredith brings a striking artistic viewpoint to her documentary photographs. Currently she works as a freelance photographer for The Food Network and non-profit organization Project Explorer allowing her to experience and travel to many different communities from all over the world. She still seeks to celebrate moments, now with an added purpose of highlighting the unity and uniqueness that exists between all human cultures. Meredith just wants to show and all she asks is that you look.
